Planning Girls Night In- kamaboko dip recipe

Now since Im From Hawaii, the food is going to be hawaiian Pupus(to be pronounced Puu-Puus) and Local Food, Give you a little hawaiian Culture ;) Its good for the Skin

Apetizers:

Lumpia

1 Pound ground Beef

1/2 teaspoon oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, minced

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 small carrot, diced

1 medium potato, diced

1 cup sliced green beans

1 package ( Ten ounce) bean sprouts

40 Lumpia Wrappers

Heat oil in sauce pan. Saute garlic and onion. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, soy sauce, potato, carrot, green beans. Cook untill mean is brown. Remove from heat; drain and cool thoroughly. Place 2 tablespoons of meat mixture on Lumpia wrapper and fold envelope style. Moisten edges with water and flour mixture(1 cup flour and 1/2 cup water). Deep fry Lumpia untill golden brown. Drain on Absorbant paper. Serve hot with either Sauce Below. Makes 40 Lumpia

Lumpia dipping Sauce 1

1/2 cup Vinegar

2 Cloves Garlic,Minced

1/4 Teaspoon Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Pepper

Combine all ingrediants and mix untill salt is dissolved Makes 1/2 cup

Lumpia Dipping Sauce 2

1/4 Cup Water

1/2 Cup Vinegar

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons corstarch

1/4 cup water

1 cloves garlic, minced

Dash of pepper

Combine water, Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Soy Sauce and Salt Bring to Boil. Mix Corn Starch with water and stir into boiling Mixture; Lower Heat. Cook until thickened; adding garlic and pepper. Makes 1 1/2 Cups

Lumpia Wrappers

2 cups Flour

2 cups water

Mix Flour and water and blend well to form a smooth batter. Lightly grease a teflon or cast iron skillet. Heat skillet over medium heat. Using a paint bruish, paint batter in skillet thinly and evenly in a circle, Working Fast.(because it will be kind of like a Tortila so you want it all cooked evenly) When edges start to lift, Gently peel it up with your fingers.

Stuffed Mushrooms

2 pounds Large Mushrooms

3/4 Butter

2 cloves Garlic, minced

1/3 Cup Cheese

1/4 Teaspoon Vinegar

2 teaspoons Shoyu

2/3 cup cracker crumbs

Remove Stems from mushrooms and save for other uses. Melt 1/3 the amount of butter listed above. Brush melted butter over mushrooms. Stir together remaining ingredients. Press lightly into mushrooms. Broil about 6 inches below broiler unit until bubbly and lightly browned, about three minutes. Serve warm.

Clam Dip

1(3 oz) Pkg Cream Cheese

1/2 tsp tabasco Sauce

1 can minced Clams,reserve juice

Beat cream cheese untill soft(Let sit in fridge for a couple of hours first to soften) add clams and some clam juice slowly untill the right thickness is achieved. Then add Tabasco Sauce. If you dislike tabasco then substitute with garlic salt. taste as you go to get the right flavor.

Spinach Dip

1 pacakge frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained well
1 cup Mayo (I use light)
2 cups sour cream (I use light)
1 small can of water chestnuts, finely chopped
1 packet of vegetable soup/dip mix

Kamaboko Dip Now this recipe your gonna be glad you have!!!

Ingredients
-1 block pink and white Kamoboko
-1/2 a raw onion  -1/2 cup mayonnaise
-Green onions     -Ritz Crackers

Chop Kamaboko and onion into small pieces. Mix in bowl with Mayo add mayo to your taste. Let sit in Refridgerator for a couple of hours and its ready to serve.

Drink Recipe Ingredients: Serves 1

.25 oz. Tanqueray London Dry (25 oz. per bottle)
.25 oz. Smirnoff No. 21 Vodka (25 oz. per bottle)
.25 oz. Captain Morgan Silver Spiced (25 oz. per bottle)
.25 oz. Cuervo Especial Gold (25 oz. per bottle)
.25 oz. triple sec
1 oz. sweet and sour mix
6 oz. cola
1 lemon wedge

Drink Recipe Preparation: Add Tanqueray London Dry, Smirnoff No.21 Vodka, Captain Morgan Silver Spiced, Cuervo Especial Gold, triple sec, and sweet and sour mix in ice-filled collins glass and stir. Top with cola. Garnish with lemon wedge (optional).
