MTV just my humble opinion

MTV was(past tense) the best channel on cable And now its food for Stupidity. Music is now just some joke!! Entertainers(who volunteer UGH) to be publicly humiliated and considered just some joke are parading around looking for BFF's and husbands and girl friends. Musicians used to be idols and now their desperate and well cheap is the word that comes to mind. Shows like Daisy of love are just soo disgusting and far to perverse for Tv. Kids are running around thinking that their behavior is tolerable to society and they can get away with whatever they like! There is no fear or even respect for the law not to mention society.

I have a little cousin who runs around saying things like "Rape!!!" for no apparent reason and she thinks its cute, she thinks shes cool. I'd hate to hear what people really think of her.

All I'm saying is i used to love MTV when all they played was music videos. MTV is what made me respect music so much.... I don't know watching the videos made me feel like I now had an insight to what the music really meant. It was inspiring it made me want to go out a create something beautiful and now I want to rip out my hair because everyone around me actually likes the Junk they play. In a way it kind of makes me just HATE people....HOW?? How could my friends actually want to watch this? It makes me shutter just thinking about how many diseases will be discovered(created) this year. People think that their actions have no repercussions and it wont affect anyone but them selves. And if your saying "how can you accuse MTV of being responsible for all of this?" Well I don't but i do hold them accountable for encouraging a lot of this! MTV has been the most popular channel since the 80's Their influence on kids and teens is immense and the fact that they promote and create shows that encourage sexual behavior and drugs Should hold them Accountable!!!

Why not blame the people who are really responsible instead of standing by and letting your kids be swayed. MTV is not the only one at fault here though, Their parents are responsible as well! I understand that its nearly impossible to be with your kids at all times and basic cable cant block MTV but when you are around CHANGE THE CHANNEL! Stop trying to be the "cool Parent" Quit turning on Vulgar music when your kids are in the car or in the house! Your Ruining your children!!!!!!! Stop smoking in front of your children! Be parents or let someone else do that job for you!
