I got Dressed for This?

You ever had one of those dates, Where the whole night your thinking "Did i really leave the house for this?" And you spend the whole night thinking about your Ex-Boyfriend because even he was better than this loser! Then you start to think, Have I really Sunk this Low?

Why is it your dates always seem to get worse? And you find yourself settling and forgiving things that were Just UNFORGIVABLE before. Like Check one:This loser didn't open the door. 'OKAY' you think 'Its not that bad, its just the door don't be such a witch'

And then Check Two: He cuts you off(on your first date no less) "Be right back"he says in the middle of your sentence and heads to the bathroom pulling out his phone without waiting for your response. 'OKAY' You tell yourself. 'He has to go to the bathroom! Calm down. No big deal. What do you expect?' Making excuses ALREADY for the rude behavior of a man you barely even know.

He comes back and doesn't ask you to Finnish your sentence. While your both eating and hes telling you about himself since you had to pick up the conversation. He gets a call, quite obvious its possibly the person he went to talk to in the bathroom. So he cuts the conversation off AGAIN and tells you he will be right back as he heads outside of the restaurant not waiting for your response AGAIN. You see him through the glass lighting a cigarette and waving his arms around like hes fighting with someone. Then he comes back still not turning his phone off or apologizing for leaving you in the restaurant while your on a date. "That was my ex" he says "What did she want?" you ask scared of the answer "Shes been trying to get back with me since we broke up..BLAH blah blah" he goes on talking about his ex girlfriend CHECK THREE you think and you should be getting up and Running away from this loser but instead you sit there and listen to him rant about another girl.

The ride home he blasts his music so loud your butts vibrating. Then he pulls up to your house reaches over with no warning and shoves his tongue down your throat. Your eyes bulge open in shock. You open your own door and he watches you get out. You turn around and he speeds away not even waiting for you to get to your door.

And then you tell your self 'All of its just little things' and 'Hes still a great guy' and so you DATE him.An later you find out he was either Cheating on you or just a Jerk and you cry for weeks not understanding how this could have happened.

Why do we settle for Mr. Right now instead of continue looking/waiting for Mr. Right?

Maybe because we dont want to be alone? And so instead of going on dates and trying to meet Mr. Right we settle and ignore the fact that he irriattes you and is just not the right guy for you. You tell your self that everyone has problems and thats true absolutely but the normal relationship problems are Bills, home/apartment issues, car related issues, and or living situation issues. Not insecurities or the fact that you annoy each other.
